Title
Consider A Resolution Authorizing The City Manager To Enter Into Agreements With Road Master Striping LLC And Traffic Highway Maintenance Services LLC Through An Interlocal Agreement With The City Of Allen For Street Pavement Markings Services In An Amount Not To Exceed $200,000.00.

Body
BACKGROUND:
This agreement is for citywide street pavement markings services. The City of Allen issued a bid in January 2024 and entered into annual contracts with Road Master Striping and Traffic Highway Maintenance Services to perform pavement markings services. Through an interlocal agreement with the City of Allen, Carrollton will use both vendors to maximize the performance of this service and complete multiple markings projects at once. This also allows internal City crews to focus on the higher priority marking issues such as Engineering Department requests, school zone marking maintenance and intersection marking maintenance.

The award will be for pavement marking services for a one-year initial term. The award also includes three additional, one-year renewal options, if mutually agreed upon by the City and the vendors, for a potential three-year total contract. Prior to the end of the term City staff will review the service and bring before Council a renewal recommendation.

FINANCIAL IMPLICATIONS:
The services will be purchased from budgeted funds for the cost center and amount as listed below.
