BACKGROUND:
This is a City-initiated request to rezone an approximately 16-acre tract from the (MF-15) Multi-Family Residential District to the (SF-8.4/16) Single-Family Residential District.
On January 25, 2024, staff conducted a neighborhood meeting to discuss the rezoning process with the property owners in the vicinity.
Two public hearings were conducted by the Planning & Zoning Commission. The first hearing was conducted on March 7 and the second on April 4, 2024.
STAFF RECOMMENDATION/ACTION DESIRED:
On April 4, 2024, the Planning and Zoning Commission recommended APPROVAL of the request. The attached ordinance reflects the action of the Commission.
Staff recommends APPROVAL and adoption of the ordinance.
