Title

Consider Approval Of The Purchase Of One Case TV450B Skid Steer From Associated Supply Company (ASCO) Through An Interlocal Agreement With The BuyBoard Purchasing Cooperative In An Amount Not To Exceed $65,500.75.

Body

BACKGROUND:

Fleet Services recommends the purchase of one Case TV450B skid steer with tracks.  The Public Works Department uses this piece of equipment to repair water lines, streets, sidewalks and drainage channels throughout the City.  This unit will replace unit 70075, which does not have tracks.

Due to the changing needs of the Public Works Department to maintain the drainage channels it has been determined that a skid steer with tracks is needed to best accomplish the work of the drainage maintenance staff.  Based on the performance, safety, quality, availability and overall build, Public Works staff recommends the Case TV450B skid steer with tracks.

FINANCIAL IMPLICATIONS:

This unit will be purchased from ASCO with budgeted funds through an interlocal agreement with the BuyBoard purchasing cooperative.
