BACKGROUND:
The services included in this bid award will provide officials, assigners, and scorekeepers for all city softball, flag football, basketball, and volleyball leagues in Carrollton.
Bid notifications were posted online, previous and interested vendors were contacted, and advertisements were placed in the Dallas Morning News, of which two vendors responded. TJ Sports was selected based on an evaluation of cost methodology, experience and references.
FINANCIAL IMPLICATIONS:
The services on RFP #24-056 will be purchased from budgeted funds for the cost centers and amounts as listed below:

IMPACT ON COMMUNITY SUSTAINABILITY:
This project supports and aligns with City Council’s goals and objectives to provide opportunities for a healthy lifestyle within the community.
STAFF RECOMMENDATION/ACTION DESIRED:
Staff recommend awarding TJ Sports for an amount not to exceed $80,000.00 annually with the option of three (3) one-year renewal periods, resulting in a total four-year contract in an amount not to exceed $320,000.00.
