BACKGROUND:
There are currently 34 school crossing locations serving Carrollton, Farmers Branch, Lewisville, and Dallas ISD schools that are located within the City of Carrollton. This award to All City Management Services has them assuming full responsibility of the day-to-day operations for the City's crossing guard program, including recruitment, background checks, training, worker's compensation insurance and general liability insurance.

Bid notifications were posted online and in the Dallas Morning News and previous and interested vendors were contacted. The submissions were reviewed and evaluated against criteria in the request for proposal (RFP) bid document. The award will be for a one-year initial term with three additional, one-year renewal options, if mutually agreed upon by the City and the vendors, for a potential four-year total contract.
