Present Life Saving Award To Public Safety Personnel For Fentanyl Overdose.
Body
BACKGROUND:
On October 9, 2024, at 11:10 pm NTECC received a 9-1-1 call for a possible Fentanyl overdose. Carrollton Fire Rescue along with Carrollton Police were dispatched to the incident. Without the quick recognition and actions of Officer Gavin along with the advanced care provided by Captain McWaters, Apparatus Operators Davis and Blair, and Firefighters Montenegro and Felan the outcome would not have been as favorable. Medical City of Las Colinas staff have recognized the incredible work of Carrollton's Public Safety personnel, in particular, Officer Gavin, Captain McWaters, Apparatus Operators Davis and Blair, and Firefighters Montenegro and Fela...
