Consider A Resolution Authorizing The City Manager To Enter Into A Six-Month Agreement With All City Management Services Through An Interlocal Agreement With The City Of Fort Worth For School Crossing Guard Services In An Amount Not To Exceed $195,000.00.

Body

BACKGROUND:

The City currently has 34 school crossing guard locations serving Carrollton-Farmers Branch, Lewisville and Dallas ISD schools that are located in Carrollton. All City Management Services is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the City’s crossing guard program, including recruitment, background checks, training, worker’s compensation insurance and general liability insurance.

All City Management Services is the City’s current crossing guard vendor and is familiar with Carrollton’s school locations and operations. This agreement will extend crossing guard services through the Fall of 2024, and allow for the development and solicitation of new Requests for Proposal (RFP) to obtain a new, long-term contract beginning with the 2024-2025 school year.
