Background:
This is a city-initiated request to amend the text of the Comprehensive Subdivision Ordinance (CSO) to revise procedures associated with utility company coordination and authorization of plat recordation, to permit conveyance plats in combination with a Final Plat on the same instrument, and to require a note on replats where a subdivision occurs with the intent of conveying a lot.
Financial Implications:
There are no financial implications on the current and future operating budgets regarding this request.
Staff Recommendation/Action Desired:
On March 5, 2026, the Planning and Zoning Commission recommended APPROVAL.
Staff is recommends APPROVAL of amendments to the CSO contained in the Results Sheet and adoption of the proposed ordinance.
