BACKGROUND:
This is a request for approval of a special use permit (SUP) to allow a smoke shop retailer in the (DTC) Downtown Transit Center District And Historic Square Sub-District.
On December 6, 2022, the City Council approved a special use permit allowing a smoke shop retailer in the (DTC) District and Urban General sub-district at 1208 East Belt Line Road, Suite 112.
STAFF RECOMMENDATION/ACTION DESIRED:
On May 2, 2024, the Planning and Zoning Commission recommended APPROVAL of the request. The attached ordinance reflects the action of the Commission.
Staff recommends APPROVAL and adoption of the ordinance.
