Case No. PLSUP 2024-134 Dallas Palms Event Center.

BACKGROUND:
This is a request for approval of a Special Use Permit to allow an a 1,126 square foot extension to an existing event center building.
The use will be broadened to allow other events, in addition to wedding related events, with the approval of this SUP.
Public comments have been received.
FINANCIAL IMPLICATIONS:
There are no financial implications on the current and future operating budgets regarding this request.
STAFF RECOMMENDATION/ACTION DESIRED:
On December 5, 2024, the Planning and Zoning Commission recommended APPROVAL of the request with stipulations.
Staff is recommending APPROVAL of the SUP request with stipulations and adoption of the proposed ordinance.
