Background:
The Fiscal Year 2027 Proposed Budget was distributed to the City Council on July 31, 2026. On August 11, 2026, a City Council work session was held to provide Council a briefing on the Proposed Budget and set the Proposed Tax Rate. The August 18, 2026 work session is to provide an opportunity for Council to deliberate on the Proposed Budget and provide staff with feedback on any desired changes. Additionally, Council will also have an opportunity to deliberate changes to fees and the proposed Tax Rate.
Staff Recommendation/Action Desired:
Deliberate and provide direction on desired changes to the Fiscal Year 2027 Proposed Budget and Proposed Tax Rate.
