Consider An Ordinance Adopting The Restated Home Rule Charter In Accordance With The Results Of The Charter Election Held On May 4, 2024.

BACKGROUND:
Council approved Ordinance 4202 canvassing the returns and declaring the results of the Special Charter Election which was held on May 4, 2024 in compliance with state law. The proposed ordinance is to adopt the changes made to the charter in accordance with what was passed in the election.
STAFF RECOMMENDATION/ACTION DESIRED:
Staff recommends approval of the attached ordinance, adopting the restated Home Rule Charter.
