Receive A Briefing On The Downtown-Belt Line Road Master Plan Update Project.

BACKGROUND:
One of the City Council’s strategic goals is to update the Downtown Master Plan that was approved in 2008.
A Request for Qualifications (RFQ) and Request for Proposals (RFP) process was managed through the City Council TOD Committee. Thirteen candidates responded to the RFQ, which were interviewed by the Committee on July 10, 2023. The TOD Committee invited all of the candidates to respond to the RFP.
Eight firms responded to the RFP (2 firms later withdrew). The TOD Committee interviewed six candidates on December 19, 2023, and selected Gensler to assist the City with the Master Plan Update.
Staff will provide a brief process update and introduce Gensler, which will present its proposal.
