Consider A Resolution Authorizing The City Manager To Enter Into An Agreement With Children’s Advocacy Center for North Texas For Services To Be Provided To Carrollton Citizens For The 2026-27 Fiscal Year.

 

Body

Background:

Upon adoption and approval of the Fiscal Year 2027 Operating and Capital Budget, the City Council will approve funding for a service contract with the non-profit organization Children’s Advocacy Center for North Texas. The agreement will be for a one-year term, with two one-year renewal options.  

 

Financial Implications:

The service contract with Children’s Advocacy Center for North Texas is budgeted in Fiscal Year 2027 for $104,637.

 

Staff Recommendation/Action Desired:

It is recommended that the City Council authorize the City Manager to enter into an agreement with Children’s Advocacy Center for North Texas for the provision of services to Carrollton  citizens for Fiscal Year 2027 in an amount not to exceed $104,637 for the Initial Term. Each Renewal Term shall include annual adjustments in an amount determined by the City Council.
