Background:
Staff will provide City Council with an overview of the Economic Development department’s activities and accomplishments during the last fiscal year, including major project outcomes, business recruitment and retention efforts and enhancements to marketing and economic development programs.
Staff will also provide a high-level overview of Carrollton’s business environment and preview potential updates to the City’s economic development tools under Chapter 380 of the Texas Local Government Code.
