Background:

The property is zoned (LI) Light Industrial District with Special Use Permit (SUP-405) for Automobile or Light Load Truck Sales, Used; Automobile Repair Service or Maintenance Garage (accessory use); and Automobile Paint and Body Shop (accessory use). 

 

The applicant is requesting to amend the existing SUP to allow the sale of watercraft (boats) and their associated trailers. 

 

No public comments have been received.

 

Financial Implications:

There are no financial implications on the current and future operating budgets regarding this request.

 

Staff Recommendation/Action Desired:

On May 7, 2026, the Planning and Zoning Commission recommended approval of the request with stipulations.

 

Staff recommends APPROVAL with stipulations.  The attached ordinance reflects the action of the Commission.
