BACKGROUND:
The Public Works Department is budgeted to purchase sign sheeting material for the fabrication, installation and replacement of street signs. The City of Fort Worth has an annual contract with 3M Company to procure sign sheeting merchandise and materials.
To lower costs the City will utilize material pricing through an interlocal agreement with the City of Fort Worth, which has an existing contract with 3M Company.
FINANCIAL IMPLICATIONS:
Purchases will be in an amount not to exceed $75,000.00 in FY2024.

IMPACT ON COMMUNITY SUSTAINABILITY:
This project supports and aligns with the City Council’s goals and objectives to properly maintain the City’s infrastructure.
STAFF RECOMMENDATION/ACTION DESIRED:
Staff recommends City Council approval of an agreement with 3M Company for the purchase of sign sheeting material through an interlocal agreement with the City of Fort Worth in an amount not to exceed $75,000.00 in Fiscal Year 2024.
