BACKGROUND:

This is a request to establish a planned development district for the (O-2) Office District to allow a “family services” use for Metrocrest Social Services to locate a new facility on the property.

 

A companion request to amend the Comprehensive Plan Future Land Use Map for the same tract is also on this agenda as Case No. PLCP 2020-4X1 Metrocrest Services - Comp Plan.

 

FINANCIAL IMPLICATIONS:

There are no financial implications on the current or future operating budgets regarding this request.

 

STAFF RECOMMENDATION/ACTION DESIRED:

On May 7, 2020, the Planning & Zoning Commission recommended APPROVAL of the request.  The attached ordinance reflects the action of the Commission.

 

Staff recommends approval and adoption of the ordinance.
