BACKGROUND:
This is a request for an amendment to the Comprehensive Plan and Future Land Use Map to change the land use designation for an approximately 5-acre tract from “Single-Family Detached Residential” to “Medium Intensity Office.”
A companion request to amend the zoning on this same tract is on this agenda (Case No. PLZ 2020-4X2 Metrocrest Services - Zoning).
FINANCIAL IMPLICATIONS:
There are no financial implications on the current or future operating budgets regarding this request.
STAFF RECOMMENDATION/ACTION DESIRED:
On May 7, 2020, the Planning and Zoning Commission unanimously recommended APPROVAL of the request. The attached resolution reflects the action of the Commission.
Staff recommends approval and adoption of the resolution.
