Present Certificates To Carrollton-Farmers Branch High School Students For The Completion Of The Vector Fleet Management Automotive Apprenticeship Program.

BACKGROUND:
The presentation of Certificates of Completion by Vector Fleet Management gives the City of Carrollton the opportunity to recognize the Vocational students at CFBISD who have completed the automotive apprenticeship program run in partnership by CFBISD, Vector Fleet Management, and the City of Carrollton. These students now have real life experience in a working shop environment and are ready to be successful after high school.
IMPACT ON COMMUNITY SUSTAINABILITY:
This recognition exemplifies the City’s resolve to attract and retain a diverse, motivated and qualified team through cooperative partnerships and programs with vendors and other governmental programs.
STAFF RECOMMENDATION/ACTION DESIRED:
Staff requests that Mayor Babick present Certificate of Completion plaques to the students of CFBISD, who have completed the apprenticeship program with Vector Fleet Management.
