BACKGROUND:
Approval of a Special Use Permit is required to allow a used car dealership as part of an existing car wash and detail business.
Staff initially recommended denial of the request when the applicant presented their proposal to the Planning and Zoning Commission for outdoor vehicle inventory display. However, because the Commission recommended approval for indoor vehicle inventory display only, and the applicant agreed to this recommendation, staff supports the request as recommended by the Commission.
STAFF RECOMMENDATION/ACTION DESIRED:
On December 7, 2023, the Planning and Zoning Commission recommended APPROVAL of the request with stipulations. The attached ordinance reflects the action of the Commission.
Staff recommends APPROVAL and adoption of the ordinance.
