Consider Approval Of The Replacement Of Perry Playground By Webuildfun.inc Through An Inter-Local Agreement With BuyBoard In An Amount Not To Exceed $126,328.

BACKGROUND:
This project is part of the Park Amenities Fund which was approved by council for the FY2015-16 budget. Playgrounds and other park amenities were evaluated using set criteria to determine current condition and to aid staff in prioritization of projects. Each amenity was given a grade and a list of projects was presented to council for completion in 2016 using the funds provided. The Perry Park playground was given a grade of D+. A new playground was designed by Webuildfun.inc to better serve the needs of the park users. An area with swings will also be added to the park as part of this project.

The playground will be funded out of the following account:

STAFF RECOMMENDATION/ACTION DESIRED:
Staff recommends approval of the playground replacement for Perry Park by Webuildfun.inc in an amount not to exceed $126,328 using the City’s existing agreement with BuyBoard.
