BACKGROUND:
The Rising Star Award is presented to those individuals in our three service communities as selected by the Town/City and Mayor/Council teams. These individuals are currently making contributions to their communities, demonstrating leadership qualities, and typically are young professionals that serve in volunteer or professional capacities within the respective Town/City. Past recipients of this award have been selected for their contributions to their workplace, strong volunteer commitment and engagement, and leadership capacity with peers and those in their communities.
