Consider Approval Of The Repair And Replacement Of Concrete Cart Paths At Indian Creek Golf Course By Multiple Vendors In An Amount Not To Exceed $45,000.

BACKGROUND:
Due to overall wear and tear to older sections of the cart path at Indian Creek Golf Course, staff is requesting the replacement of concrete in multiple areas on the golf course. The original sections of cart path have shifted and broken off in many areas through both courses, but primarily on the Lakes Course. The worst of these panels will be removed and replaced. This by no means will address all the needed repairs but will help with the worst sections of cart path.
Quotes were received for this work and the prices provided below are for removal and hauling away the existing concrete and replacing the new panels at the same width to include rebar. In some locations the contractor will need to buggy in the concrete due to access or other constraints.

The concrete repairs will be purchased from budgeted funds from the account and amount listed below.

STAFF RECOMMENDATION/ACTION DESIRED:
Staff recommends approval of the Indian Creek Golf Course concrete car path replacement project not to exceed $45,000 to Fleetwood Services, Rockwall, TX.
Staff also recommends having a secondary vendor in case the primary cannot meet the schedule for this work. Staff recommends GHR Concrete as the secondary contractor.
