BACKGROUND:
This is a request for approval of a Resolution acknowledging a request for annexation, setting hearing dates, and directing staff to prepare a Service Plan with regard to the proposed annexation of three tracts of land totaling approximately 35.6-acres.
The request is being submitted by Taylor Duncan Interests proposing development of Villas at Parker, Phase 2, to be known as Trails at Arbor Hills (Tract 1) and Parker Ranch (Tracts 2 and 3). The applicant proposes approximately 174 single-family detached and 54 townhome lots on the 3 tracts (See Applicant's Conceptual Lot Layout).
On June 7, 2016 City Council received a presentation from staff during their work session on considering Villas at Parker annexation on the two 1.3 acres tracts (phase 1) and three tracts (35.6 acres) for phase 2 (subject tracts). City Council indicated that they wished to proceed with the development of an annexation schedule.
A resolution was approved by City Council on July 12, 2016 for the two tracts of 1.3-acres for Villas at Parker, Phase 1. The attached resolution considers action for the approximately 35.6-acre tracts for Villas at Parker Phase 2.
