BACKGROUND:
This item is to authorize the City Manager to enter into an interlocal agreement with the City of Richardson for the use of their Fire Training Center. Carrollton Fire Rescue (CFR) will utilize the Richardson facility to train and certify select personnel to conduct live fire training scenarios. The CFR-certified personnel will then be utilized to conduct live-fire scenarios at the regional training facility in Farmers Branch.
FINANCIAL IMPLICATIONS:
The non-recurring fees paid to the City of Richardson for the use of their fire training center will be from budgeted funds as indicated below:

STAFF RECOMMENDATION/ACTION DESIRED:
Staff recommends City Council authorize the City Manager to execute an interlocal agreement with the City of Richardson for the use of their Fire Training Center in an amount not to exceed $3,000.00.
