BACKGROUND:
This is a city-initiated request for approval to amend the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance by amending Article XXVIII to add provisions regulating food trucks in the (TC) Transit Center District and Article XXXIV to add a definition for ‘food truck’.
STAFF RECOMMENDATION/ACTION DESIRED:
On September 1, 2016, the Planning & Zoning Commission will consider and vote on a recommendation to the City Council. It is anticipated that the attached ordinance will reflect the action of the Commission. If the proposed ordinance is modified with the City Council’s final action, staff will make the necessary change and replace the section.
