BACKGROUND:
This is a request for approval of a resolution acknowledging a request for annexation, setting public hearing dates and directing staff to prepare a Service Plan with regard to the proposed annexation of approximately 9.959 acres.
The request is being submitted by Taylor Duncan Interests, which is proposing development of single-family detached houses and townhomes on the property.
At the June 7, 2016 worksession City Council received a presentation from staff to consider annexation of the property. City Council indicated that they wished to proceed with the development of an annexation schedule.
If City Council approves the attached resolution then public hearings will be held on November 1 and 15, 2016. Ordinance adoption is scheduled for December 6, 2016.

Staff recommends City Council approve a resolution acknowledging a request for annexation, setting public hearing dates and directing staff to prepare a Service Plan for the Parker Ranch Annexation, Tract 2.
