BACKGROUND:
Staff is seeking approval to replace the lights at Mill Valley Tennis Court. The lights on this court are outdated quartz lights which are in need of constant repair and replacement. The new lights would match the lighting systems currently in use at other satellite courts and athletic facilities throughout the city. Lights are scheduled and activated remotely and also come with a 25-year warranty and maintenance program for labor and materials.
FINANCIAL IMPLICATIONS:
The lights will be funded out of the CIP Mill Valley Park Lights account.
FUNDS REQUESTED: $69,500.00
STAFF RECOMMENDATION/ACTION DESIRED:
Staff recommends approval for replacing the lights at Mill Valley Tennis Court by Musco Lighting using the City’s existing agreement with BuyBoard in an amount not to exceed $69,500.00.
