BACKGROUND:

This is a request to amend Planned Development District 181 (PD-181) for the (LI) Light Industrial District with development standards. 

 

The amendments would allow alternative exterior building materials for structures at established minimum setbacks from streets, revise landscape and screening requirements along Sandy Lake Road and Luna Road and change the type of perimeter security screening fencing.

 

FINANCIAL IMPLICATIONS:

There are no financial implications on the current or future operating budgets regarding this request.

 

STAFF RECOMMENDATION/ACTION DESIRED:

On February 7, 2019 the Planning and Zoning Commission unanimously recommended APPROVAL of the request.  No public comments were received or presented at the public hearing. The attached ordinance reflects the action of the Commission.

 

Staff recommends approval and adoption of the ordinance.
