Discuss The Betterment Program For The DART Silver Line Commuter Rail Project.

BACKGROUND:
The design of the Silver Line Commuter Rail between DFW International Airport, through Downtown Carrollton to Plano began in 2019. The project is a design/build project with a scheduled completion date of December 2022. DART has included funding for a Betterment Program throughout the corridor to provide enhancements along the route such as screening walls, landscaping and aesthetic treatments. City staff will brief the Council on the current status of the Betterment Program in Carrollton and discuss betterment options and staff recommendations along the corridor.
STAFF RECOMMENDATION/ACTION DESIRED:
Staff will provide an update on the Betterment Program for the DART Silver Line Commuter Rail project.
