BACKGROUND:
Fleet Services is requesting the purchase of two (2) Husqvarna FS 5000 concrete saws from ASCO. On average concrete saws have a 3-year life expectancy. These units 8354 and 8368 have been in service for almost 4 years. The Public Works Department uses these units often, working on repairing roads and sidewalks across the City.
Quotes were requested from ASCO. Based off the performance, quality and overall build, Fleet and Public Works recommend the Husqvarna FS 5000 saw, purchased from ASCO through a Buy Board Inter-local purchasing agreement.

Staff recommends approval to purchase two (2) Husqvarna FS 5000 concrete saws from ASCO through an Inter-local agreement with Buy Board Purchasing Cooperative in the amount of $65,000.00.
