Consider Approval Of The Renovations To Indian Creek Golf Course Cart Barn By Dallas Harmony Construction Through An Inter-Local Agreement With BuyBoard In An Amount Not To Exceed $262,680.00.

BACKGROUND:
The Indian Creek Golf Course cart barn was originally constructed over 40 years ago to house the golf cart fleet operations. Orion Management Solutions recently transitioned their fleet from gas carts to electric carts. The existing building required extensive electrical work to accommodate the new fleet and is now in need of exterior renovations and additions due to its age and to protect the new golf carts from the elements when being stored for charging. The renovations would include replacement of the exterior sheet metal, the addition of a concrete pad and awning to house and protect additional golf carts, and the addition of a small storage area for maintenance equipment.
Funding for this project is made available through proceeds from golf course revenue. A 10% contingency is included to cover any additional costs that may arise during the renovation process.

Competitive pricing was secured through BuyBoard. The renovations of the cart barn will be funded out of the following accounts:

STAFF RECOMMENDATION/ACTION DESIRED:
Staff recommends approval of the renovations to the Indian Creek Golf Course cart barn by Dallas Harmony Construction in an amount not to exceed $262,680.00 using the City’s existing agreement with BuyBoard.
